76 more EB Magalona residents avail of DSWD assistance

Another batch of 76 indigent residents of E. B. Magalona have availed of medical and cash relief assistance (CRA) from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) recently.

The Office of 3rd District Rep. Jose Francisco "Kiko" Benitez facilitated the assistance, which was under the Social Welfare and Development - Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (SWAD- AICS) program.

Of the number, 56 availed of medical assistance, while 20 families received CRA (for medical and burial).

The payout, led by congressional geographical coordinator Sonia Macapagal and Municipal Social Welfare Officer Emy Lyn Hibionada, with the assistance of MSWDO staff, was held at the Saravia Commercial Building.

Previously, 363 indigent residents of E. B. Magalona also availed of medical, burial, and cash relief assistance last July, and another 303 indigent residents availed of medical, burial, and medical assistance last May, both under the SWAD-AICS program that were also facilitated by the Office of 3rd District Rep. Jose Francisco Benitez.*
