USLS students lead mangrove-planting, coastal cleanup in Tomongtong eco-trail

E. B. Magalona inks MOA with PPA for proposed Saravia Municipal Port

The Municipality of E.B. Magalona has signed a memorandum of agreement (MOA) with the Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) for the construction, management, and operations of the proposed Saravia Municipal Port in Barangay Tuburan, at rites at the Asenso Hall at the Public Plaza today [Nov. 17].

E. B. Magalona vying for environment hall of fame award

The Municipality of E. B. Magalona is vying for a third major consecutive win at the 2023 Abanse Negrense Good Environmental Governance Award (ANGEGA) and become a Hall of Fame awardee this year.


The 2023 E. B. Magalona finalists, led by MENRO-designate Jojo Vargas, present their best practices for their respective categories during an evaluation by a team of validators from PEMO, led by Technical Support Services Division head Ma. Elena San Jose, at the Tomongtong Mangrove Eco-Trail in Barangay Tomongtong Thursday [Oct. 12].

AT BRIGADA ESKWELA 2023: Malacon bares infra projects for EBMES, EBMNHS

In strong support of the Department of Education (DepEd), Mayor Marvin Malacon announced the incoming projects for the improvement of E. B. Magalona Elementary School (EBMES) and E. B. Magalona National High School (EBMNHS). Speaking at separate launching ceremonies for the weeklong Brigada Eskwela 2023 in the two main schools Monday [August 14], Malacon said the Municipal Government and the DepEd are gearing up for the construction works for these various development projects.
